Cervicogenic Headaches

If you have sustained a whiplash injury during a motor vehicle accident or a concussion injury from a tackle in a contact sport, this may result in experiencing neck pain which can sometimes develop into headaches. Symptoms which persist for 3 months or longer after an injury are generally not caused by a brain / head injury, suggesting symptoms may be arising from somewhere else other than the head: the cervical spine.
